We all love those old themepark photo's. Long forgotten times where the parks were different from today, sometimes better, sometimes not. With attractions which are only left into our minds and thoughts.
This photoserie shows the Efteling, Netherlands in the summer of 2004 and 2005.
The park has changed a lot during the last 24 years, Spookslot has been torn down in 2022 and the new darkride with the motion stage technology from Intamin, called Danse Macabre has been built and opened in 2024. The Polka Marina attraction at what is currently called Ruigrijk has been closed in 2020, was removed and nothing has been build in it's place.
Aquanura, built by WET has been added at the Vonderplas in 2012.
Currently at the heart of the park where Symbolica opened in 2017, it was once called "Brink", which had a large fountain at the middle of the place: "The source of life".
