I visited the Magic Kingdom last Tuesday (May 10th), waited about 70 minutes for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction. Was it worth the wait? Not completely sure about it.
The attraction has only 1 station, which means loading and unloading is limited, but that did not seemed to explain the long wait. As I was watching the operations of the attraction, more than half the wait time was due to the fact that there is a fast pass line... Roughly a 80/20 devision in lines, 20% of the standby and 80% of the fast pass.
What if they decided to test drive with a day no fast pass? What would normal waiting times do at that point? Sometimes the use of fast pass feels useless, especially when normal standby times are only 10 to 20 minutes max...
