Hi guys!

How are you doing?

I will introduce myself. I'm Finn from Holland. I'm a fulltime fullstack developer and creating difficult systems every day. (at least i try ;) ). I really like this site and would love to start my own small project!

How does this work? Can i create my own idea? I'm curious!

Thanks in advance.

Finn

Hi Finn and welcome! (and Bradly105YT, thanks for the answer).

Randy & I are working at a new html5 project at the moment. Beside this project I'm investigating the options for a multiplayer environment and custom leaderboard. Maybe to create a environment without an CMS like Joomla or WordPress.

What is the programming environment you're most familiar with?

Hey, I want ta add to this topic and introduce myself as well.

I'm a computer science student from Germany (hello neighbours!) and I want to learn the basics and possibly more about how to make a simulation. I have over two years of experience of working with the Unity game engine (mainly VR though) and C# code. I'm also able to do basic backend stuff using NodeJS.

However I always find it difficult to get started with a new technology. You always write about making HTML5 simulations... well do you use a framework, library, game engine or did you built all the tools from scratch. Stuff like path animation must've been preprogrammed to be reused. I have no idea where to start but I always love to learn new things. A bit of guidance from your extensive experience on this topic would be greatly appreciated. I would love to contribute to this topic since I'm following this site for so long by now. I nowadays (I'm 21 y/o now) have the skills to contribute and I'd love to help and/or create.

Thanks in advance. I'm looking forward to contributing to this community.

Hi Salzian,

I am very sorry for my late reply (somehow a bad Dutch habit)! The html5 simulations are being build using Adobe Animate, CreateJS and GSAP libraries, so it's html5 but not 100%.

Because I'm trying to write modulair code, I can reuse a lot of code for new projects. Feel free to ask as much questions as you want.

BR/MfG, Martijn
